Shaughnessy Restaurant at VanDusen Botanical Garden provides
a distinctly beautiful location for your corporate get-together
or special celebration. Casually elegant surroundings, 55 acres
of magnificent gardens, and that 'escape-from-the-city' feel
are abundant here, ensuring that your special event will be
unforgettable.
Located centrally not far from the airport, University of British
Columbia and downtown Vancouver, we offer ample free parking
and wheelchair accessibility for your guests.
The renowned VanDusen Botanical Garden provides a stunning backdrop
to your event - showcasing the beauty of Vancouver flora to
your out-of-town guests, and re-affirming the spectacular place
we live to your resident guests. During those early winter nights
or summer late evenings, enjoy the fairy-tale atmosphere created
by the night-lit Garden. Private group Garden tours can be arranged.
Seasonally we can accommodate groups of any size up to 200 people
for a stand-up reception. Our dining room can seat up to 160
people with an additional 90 seats on the heated patio overlooking
the Garden. We excel at cocktail parties, brunches, dessert
buffets, formal lunches or dinners, and can provide a venue
for dancing, live bands and DJs. Whether you’re a small
or large group, we can create an intimate environment perfectly
suited for your occasion.
